Really like the property and the staff has all been very friendly & helpful. We had a couple of problems with our check-in, however. The first key we got for our room didn't work and the AC in our room was very loud. However, they quickly resolved these issues.

The property itself was not bad at all. It was nice and clean, but the property is not very transparent with its fees. I planned a two day mini vacation with my son to visit Carlsbad caverns and the following day take a trip to Roswell. I only had a $200 budget for both days. Upon arriving at the property on a Friday night, I checked in and the lady at the front desk, informed me that she would have to put a $100 hold on my card. I told her everything was already paid for, but I had no choice but to pay since at that point, and at 9:30 PM, I couldn't cancel and get the money I had already paid refunded so I could find a different place. This cut my budget in half. The employee assured me that my $100 would be released the moment I checked out. Next day, we decided to just check out and go to the caverns then drive back home since I would just rather get my $100 back immediately. I was worried about me and my son not being able to make it on $100 for two days and have enough gas money to drive back home. This meant that I would have to lose the money for day 2 of my trip as it was non-refundable. When I checked out, I noticed my money had not been released. I went back and asked the lady, and contrary to that the lady the prior night had told me, my funds would not be released for another 3-5 business days. So this happened in Saturday, and there was a good chance that my funds wouldn't be back in my account until Friday. This place ruined my two day mini vacation.
