Great hotel in Carloforte
Posted 27 Jun 2019 on HotelsWe had a really nice stay at Nichotel. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was somewhat lacking, but the overall experience was still very positive. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was in good position with a modern well equipped room and bathroom. Good breakfast. However the view from the room was the worst we had ever experienced in any country. The concrete wall with air conditioning unit being no further than 2 metres from the only window with no direct sunlight. Our friends had a balcony with sea view for the same money!

Lovely little hotel in fantastic location
Posted 28 Oct 2017 on HotelsWe had an amazing time at this lovely little hotel, which is a 2 minute walk from the ferry. The service was excellent and the room (we went for the suite as it was out of season and therefore very reasonable) was lovely and very well equipped. The bed was really comfortable too, which we found wasn’t always the case in this part of Sardinia.
The local area is gorgeous, with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. We would love to go back as the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to see much of the rest of the little island.
I’d we are lucky enough to get back to Carleforte, we will definitely stay at Nichotel again.

Pros: The cleanliness was great.
Cons: I understand that the Italians don't have the "American" breakfast, but a different variety may help the travelers.
Location: Limited activities on the island. Scooter rental is limited to where you can go. Had to stay on the asphalt and cement roads. Lots of off road trails
This hotel was just lovely. The staff were very helpful and courteous.The hotel itself is located in the heart of Carloforte which is the hub of the island. Close to a beach, shops, bank and many cafes.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to beach, town centre and ferries. Car parking free but about 200 yards away which presented no problem to us.
Well appointed hotel, close to centre of town, beach and ferries. All staff friendly and helpful, the receptionist was particularly cheerful and chatty. We had a good breakfast and a very good evening meal in the restaurant around the corner owned by the same family.
