Great place to stay, clean, quiet, comfortable and a great breakfast. Claudette goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is pleasant. Would highly recommend.

Total quiet..great place to meditate, regroup, and renew self. The Innkeeper has a beautiful and calming spirit. Gives you the space to just do you. Can't wait ti visit again!

From the early check in and Very Clean, Comfortable Suite Accommodations and Superb First-Class Delicious Breakfast !
Our Stay here left quite a impression on us and Claudette treated us like family !

Westmoreland Trip
Posted 21 Sep 2021 on HotelsGreat place to go and relax, its pretty much in the middle on nowhere so lots of piece and quiet. Close to Colonial Beach and Westmoreland State Park. Provided breakfast was good.

Making a reservation with Claudette was effortless. Breakfast was great-she offered options and Randolph’s dinner recommendation was spot on. It was lovely to be literally in the woods. I went away to have peace and quiet and that’s what I got. Do yourself a favor and calmly, slowly drive to this spot in the woods where you will be given a friendly wave by passersby-on the off chance someone passes by your car! 😅

Posted 13 Jul 2020 on HomeAwayThe service here was absolutely phenomenal. Claudette was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the check in a breeze. The rooms were gorgeous, and the bathtub experience was divine! She even had different aromatherapy bath products for whatever energy you're looking for.
We were in the area for a wedding in Tappahannock, and in the course of our one night stay we ended up needing a hair dryer, a clothes iron, and a few other knick knack type items that we forgot. Claudette didn't just have these things available; they were all already in the room so we didn't even need to ask!
The breakfast was delicious and was catered to our likes. There are both coffee and tea offers. The peach hibiscus tea was delightful.
The property borders a beaver pond and there are a few trails that take you down to the water. My husband and I enjoyed a morning stroll listening to the frogs and watching the turtles and fish popping out of the water every so often.
We are already planning a return trip to the area, and even if this location is slightly out of the way for our trip, we'll definitely be staying here again!

I can't think of anything i didn't enjoy. The property was described perfectly, off the beaten path, the serenity and peacefulness starts with the host Claudette

Eric and I had a wonderfull time staying at Claudette her B&B. It was so clean, and
it was so quiet there and Claudette immediately made us feel at home. The breakfast was freshly prepared and was perfect, just perfect. Claudette is a very sweet special woman with a golden heart.
If you need some time to get youre act together, well go to the temple in the woods.xxxx thanks again Claudette

Remote location allowed for total freedom from busy city life. Owner should consider the addition of an outdoor gazibo near one of ponds for a location to sit and watch wildlife.
