"We came for a honeymoon week, the hotel provided a surprise bottle and some decorations for my new Wife, it was perfect - thank you. The hotel location is on the best most beautiful section of beach, the numerous facilities that we tried were top notch - gym, sauna. "Here for a one week break and deliberately chose it for reasonable access to Cofete and the beaches around Esmeralda. The drive down from the airport was very easy and finding the hotel was a dawdle too. Food was good and varied, as was the drink. I did feel they were slightly understaffed at times particularly at peak meal times. I would however return, and recommend it to others."

Good food and beach access, terrible coffee

"Great food at both dinner and breakfast, the beach is excellent for walking and swimming. There was unfortunately no kettle for hot water in the room and the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. Instead of Nescafe machines dispensing low-quality 'instant' coffee, the hotel could have provided a large pot of simple filter coffee for guests. "

"Our stay at the Royal Palm was excellent. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful without exception - in fact they were happy . Surely the sign of a good employer . The breakfast and also dinner in the hotel was splendid; the staff diligently supplying the well stocked counters and excellent coffee for the tables . The hotel was clean in all parts we saw and the two tiered pools also immaculate. The beach in front of the hotel is so nice the fact is one doesn't have to leave the hotel at all to be completely satisfied. The two things of complaint would be the absolutely bonkers bird/dinosaur squawks piped through the pool speakers . How anyone thinks a relaxing holiday was made better by this beggars belief. Also the tennis court net was broken whilst still charging guests for its use. The latter was though acknowledged and refunded as soon as it was flagged up . I did not get a chance to report the bird noise. "
