A very popular pub , restaurant and guest house. I’ve been here three times in the last few months and look for a reservation every time I’m working in the area. Just stayed over a damp wet Wednesday night and the place was bursting which was amazing to see. I recommend booking a table for food as there is not much of a chance to walk in . The rooms are clean & comfortable and has chairs and a desk I can work from if needed. Breakfast which is ordered the night before is wonderful, flavoursome and filling. As before , my first choice when working in the area.

Amazing staff food beers and room. As a business traveler I’m helping the smaller businesses rather than the larger corporate ones. The food was amazing- saw local fish monger deliver van so no cash and carry food here. Beer selection was fantastic with local craft beers 🍺. Only a few rooms so don’t miss out

A one night stay
Posted 16 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe had a very enjoyable stay after a good family party at the pub.
The attic room was very comfortable, though rather too warm. We had to open the windows, but the heavy rain that night meant we couldn't leave them open too much.
Also, that heavy rain on the Velux windows did disturb us quite a bit. Nothing that the Inn could do about it, just lead to disturbed sleep.

Posted 22 Feb 2024 on HotelsLovely, homely hotel in a quiet location. Fridge stocked with fresh milk . Tea coffee kettle in room. Very friendly staff- great bar, breakfast & restaurant.(not open Monday and Tuesday)

Hi James,Thank you for your review.I am sure we could have had a better review if you had been staying with us when we were fully open. Then you would have had the pleasure of using our award winning Restaurant and Bar. Unfortunately when staying on Monday and Tuesday these are closed and you do not get the opportunity to use these facilities. Maybe next time.
