No hot water, just luke warm.
Shower was a trickle

We checked in and went to the room, but the radiator valve was jammed open so incredibly hot! The duty manager moved us to another room which was nice but the pillows were very poor and offered no support.

Great stay at this hotel. Beautiful historical house complete with courtyard, small church and cemetery (pity the church wasn't open, as would like to have looked inside).
Stayed in the village opposite the hotel. Was like staying in your own home, very large room. However, cleaning was needed. Not properly hoovered, few cobwebs and they didnt service the room over the 2 days. Bathroom was dated and the bath incredibly high to get in and out of.
Dined on both nights, Valentin was brilliant behind the bar and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Good food and the carvery was delicious! Nice selection of bar drinks, lots of golfers, so if the bar was a bit rowdy, there were lots of other sitting areas throughout the lobby and lounges.
Overall, really nice and would go back.
