Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed and for the price I paid I was robbed ,dirty all old dirty furniture everything is all knocked about it needs millions spent on it to bring it up to date , bar staff hadn’t a clue , not enough seats anywhere we had to sit on the stairs to have a drink ,never again only thing any good was the breakfast

Went to cardiff for a show at the castle, the hotel is across from the castle so very easy at the end of the night

The property is as it is, a famous hotel in Cardiff easy accessible. Bedroom a bit of updating required but very clean, bar excellent as was breakfast and snacks. Staff very friendly, in general Hotel very clean and welcoming

The room was spacious and reasonably equipped.
We ate in the hotel one evening and it was very tasty. The staff were extremely helpful in the restaurant.
The air con didn't appear to respond to changes so it was very hot.
The car park was having work done and was unavailable so we had to use a VERY expensive NCP nearby.

Stayed overnight after attending a concert. Room was spacious and clean. Toiletries provided and tea and coffee.
Staff on front desk helpful and friendly.
Would stay again.
King size bed would be nice 😉

It has a little old grandeur, gorgeous reception, grand staircases and chandeliers. Staff are generally generous and gracious , the rooms are spacious and comfy . Some may think it needs updating , but I thought it was charming!!!

The hotel is stunning and I'm a fantastic area, perfect for events in the Principality stadium. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are good, but a little dated. The mattress in our room was awful, but that's because we like a firm mattress and this was very soft. It was comfortable enough for the 2 nights though.
Breakfast was good, parking is usually on site but due to refurbishment not available but the deal on parking in the westgate was a bargain!

Bathroom was looking a tad bit run down , and a little dated . Rooms were very hot . Not totally what I call value for money .
