Spacious clean and modern bedroom. Bar area was clean but decor worn and dated. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice.
Leisure facilities were very good but some tiles missing in the pool.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Definitely not a 4*
I was happy with absence of slippers and bathrobes (expected for 4*), for the sake of being eco-friendly, but exactly same substance in all refillable bottles, for shampoo, shower gel and hand soap felt like such an ignorance of the guests, like "let's pour whatever liquid to whatever bottles, who really cares, let it be "20 in one" for them". Very far from 4* service. The matrasses also were sagged. We couldn't sleep because someone shouted very loudly till 4am and then someone (else) turned on the hoover at 6-30am. I wish the hotel cared more about noise policy.
On the positive side: we were provided a complimentary spa access (which also expected to be a genuine part of 4* , but it's only available for additional payment or as a compliment ), the room was clean and spacious.

Really lovely stay. Received an upgraded room, it was huge with complimentary treats. Be mindful if you have stayed here before that the spa is chargeable at £10 per person per day. Staff were lovely especially the lady at check-in. We have stayed here 10 times or more and always good. Spa was busy but it's half term.
