Hotel is clean enough for a city centre property. The staff are the best part of the entire experience - an absolutely lovely lot. But the stinger for me was the sheer hike of their event pricing which really made everything painful - the single beds and old amenities at some 4x the price of normal.

The hotel is in a great walkable location - with Cardiff Castle basically around the corner. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff. I was told that our breakfast was not included. I paid for 2 breakfast vouchers. I was advised at checkout that our breakfast was included and I will be receiving a refund. It’s been almost two weeks and I have yet to receive one.

I think the staff were second to none and were fantastic. Was taking my daughter to see Pink and they were so lovely to her. The bed and pillows were comfy and the breakfast was very fresh and tasty.
Only negative was the room was facing queen street and i was woken up very early with them cleaning the street. Also, there was next to no shower gel in the room.
Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Had a lovely stay, there was a small problem getting into our room when we got in at 2am but the gentleman on reception sorted it quickly and allowed us a later checkout to compensate which we were very grateful for!
Will definitely return next time we’re in the cit!
