The high star rating of this hotel is likely due to its location. The room itself was dark and very small, with the odd choice of black walls in areas where you’d make a drink or use the safe. Upon arrival, you’re greeted with a long list of rules about what you must not do – yet trying to get a clean cup, coffee pods, sugar, and milk was a challenge in itself.
To add to the disappointment, we were informed upon check-in that the restaurant and bar were closed on Sundays and Mondays. When we tried to order a drink at the bar, the staff seemed clueless, unable to make even the simplest of cocktails. After that, we never bothered to return to the bar or try the restaurant.
This hotel really needs to take a fresh look at things from a customer’s perspective, as it feels like improvements have been neglected for quite some time. Was I impressed? Not at all. The location is great, but there are plenty of other hotels in the same area. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning or recommending it.

Great location between the old town and new town, with great rooftop view of the old town.
The room was clean with standard facilities including a safe in the room.
The bathroom was split with toilet separate room from sink and shower.
The room colour scheme was dark which when faced inwards made the room overall quite dark even with main lights on. Sounded like the room was above the kitchen with a lot of banging pots heard until midnight and then again from 6am so not as restful as would like.

Breakfast less than other hotels we visited. Strange property layout…2 wings. One elevator went up to 5. The other went up to 4. We had to go down to 0 walk down the hall to another elevator to get to breakfast. Had a nice rooftop bar that nobody told us about. Parking inconvenient. No bar/restaurant/store nearby. Room was comfortable.

Dear Paul,Thank you for your comment about our Hotel.You don't have to go to floor 0 to go to breakfast. Our breekfast is at Floor 4, you were at floor 5, so basically one floor down by stairs or lift.We don't have rooftop bar, our bar is at the same floor than breakfast.Sincerely,

Great location to visit and view the castle with easy parking. Air conditioning and cool pool helped to take the heat out of the day. Panoramic view from the restaurant was great at any time of the day or night. Reception team really helpful.

Used as a night stop over on our way to Spain. We like the underground parking here which is one reason we stay. It’s close to the old city and not far from the new town
