The receptionist was delightful and extremely helpful. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We loved our time there.

Delightful location in the center of the village of Capileira. Several restaurants fronting on the same square offer convenient and pleasant dining options. Hotel breakfast was good. Free public parking is a short, though somewhat steep, walk away. Be prepared for quite narrow streets if you need to drive to hotel to unload luggage before taking car to the parking area.

Lovely traditional hotel in a very small village with fantastic views.
Inside the hotel was a more modern touch, comfortable beds and views over the main centre.
Selection of restaurants all reasonably priced for the amount of food served.
Good base to explore the mountains more.
Only downside if there is one, is that the main carpark can get very busy so spaces are a scarce.

Posted 23 Jul 2023 on HotelsI enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel. I was immediately struck by the friendliness of the lady on reception who I suspect was the owner. Nothing was too much trouble.
My room, though compact, was totally adequate and there was nothing 'missing' in either the bedroom or in the bathroom.
In fact, everything was of a high quality and there was a very nice little extra in the form of artisan made chocolates. Delicious!!
In short, I hope I can return one day as I enjoyed my 24 hours in this lovely village and I know where I will be staying!

Wonderfull mountain village with a lovely hotel
Posted 23 May 2023 on HotelsThis is a lovely hotel in the mountains. It is in the centre of the village with shops bars restaurants and parking nearby. A modern hotel with great helpful staff, most of whom speak English, good breakfast and very quiet. The area is safe and extremely scenic and good walks all around. A long bendy road to get there but it is worth it when you arrive.

This place is wonderful. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and Capileira is an absolute gem. We will be back as soon as we can.
