Strand Guesthouse - Hostel

2.0 star property
4.8 out of 10, (5)
"My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. The room was very small, there was no fan, very tiny windows (felt a bit unsafe) and there was no shower as stated in the booking. "Really awesome little surf house and surf school in Hermanus . Sarah the owner really took care of all our needs and organised all our surfing lessons and a very special whale boat trip to see the southern wright whales. The surf house is just a short walk into the town centre along the beautifull ocean cliff path walk . Highly recommended and will back for sure some day !"
