Hotel cancelled upon my arrival without notice. Issue was between Hotels.com/Expedia and the nightly fare difference, though as the customer I was left with a cancelled reservation even after fully paying for it. Rather stressful experience to find alternative accommodation at the very last minute.

Please note that your reservation was made on the same date as your stay date. Your cancellation was made 4 days later on the 30th of March. The lockdown was enforced on the 26 March. As such we only got confirmation then on the exact details on how trade could take place and as such resulted in no trade allowed. We do apologize the inconvenience this have caused you to have unfortunately it was out of our control due to regulations. We will be happy to host you in the future when operations can return to normal.

Quiet, Comfortable Stay

However, if you are looking for a place with atmosphere and to socialize with other travelers, it left much to be desired. Megan, the bartender, was very welcoming, hospitable and accommodating. She ensured that I had a great night that would have otherwise been a rather dull last evening in Cape Town. Keep her around!

Misled. This is not a hotel its a hostel

I wish you would have addressed this with us as we do offer free earplugs at the front desk which could have helped. Beautiful Hotel and Spectacular Views

The room was incredibly spacious and had two walls of floor-to-ceiling windows that provided exceptional views and light. It was terrific to have the attention of the hotel owner who ensured we were taken care of from check in to check out. Additionally, every staff member was top notch; professional, helpful and friendly. And we mustn't forget to mention the breakfast... a delicious way to start our days exploring beautiful Cape Town. Highly recommended.
