I would highly recommend 7 Ackermann Place Guest House. It was spotlessly clean, lovely spacious comfortable rooms and a great location.

Quiet and impressive communication. Would highly recommend. Bed a tad hard, but then that is a personal preference. Do not hesitate to book.

Property was nice, clean and accessible. They asked us if OK not to service the room due to lack of resources, which was fine and accepted. We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. We understand that security is a great concern in this area and accepted compensation needed to replace locks, a remote and keys. The rules for the property states R200.00 should keys not be returned, they should probably update that to R2,000.00, as we paid around R1,800. We accept responsibility, it was our bad, but it could probably have been handled a bit better. Great place to stay, just don't lose your keys.

7 Ackermann Place, pride ourselves in our very clean rooms and friendly staff. We do not have a lack of cleaning resources. We asked our guests if we could give our hard working staff a well deserved 1 day break over Christmas and guests were very accommodating regarding this. We would have made alternative arrangements if guests required us to do so. This was well communicated to the guests via email a few days before arrival and also on check in.Safety of our guests is a big priority to us. 7 Ackermann Place is in a very safe, quiet neighbourhood. We have never had any security issues. The guest did not just lose their room key, but also the security gate key, the remote for the electric gate, the front door key. Guests, losing their keys requires lock changing and key replacements and our electric gate remotes to be recalibrated. The keys lost needed to be replaced for all our guests and not just their 1 room. This was a situation out of our control and we handled the issue professionally and urgently. We were very accommodating, assisting the guest after hours, arranging key replacements, obtaining quotes and making sure none of our guests were inconvenienced due to this situation. A poor review, due to circumstances out of our control, seems very unfair.

Lovely pool and the room wa a comfortable with my own little seating area for my morning coffee. Very friendly hosts and super helpful and informative. Very close to the town centre and walkable.
