We stayed in the Southern Quarters over Christmas. The cottage had heat but our room never warmed up above 57 degrees. The staff did provide a space heater that we put in the bathroom. The cottage had a small kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator.
Overall we had a very pleasant time in Cape May. Yes the room was cold but very comfortable. It made for a a memorable Christmas.

Our stay was very nice, everything was exactly what we wanted. Our only complaint is that since there is a bar attached to the property, it got a bit noisy at night. Would stay again, though!

Was an amazing experience only downside was we couldn’t stay longer. Easy check in and check out. Will be back!

Beautiful grounds..lots of cool cubby hole rooms on the main floor - tons of gorgeous antiques throughout. Great History.

I can't speak for warmer weather, but we stayed in December. The main hotel was closed, which we were not told when booking. We were looking for the Christmas experience. There was no contact with any hotel staff. We stayed in what they called the Southern Quarters, a separate building that housed 6 rooms. Even though the room had heat it was very cold. We were very cold all night.
The floors were like ice. The bathroom was freezing! I don't think there was any heat in there. I would not recommend staying here in the cold weather.

Although only part of the hotel is opened this time of year, I enjoyed this lovely clean , quiet property perfect for my visit to Cape May.I look forward to a return stay when this charming hotel is fully opened with it's restaurant and rocking chair porch ..a step back in time...

I loved the welcome handwritten envelope—loved everything. I am very appreciative and honored to have had these 2 nights at this most historical location.
