Screwed 3 times Wildwood, Cape May NJ in 4 years
Posted 21 Jun 2019 on HotelsSucked ! Place was not opened for the season! Nobody was there! 3 times in Wildwood and Cape May NJ area got screwed by hotels one way or another. Will not use Hotels.com stop bothering me.

Great place to crash

Pros: availability for one-night stay!
Cons: it's older -- but probably why pricing was reasonable
Although it's no 5-star hotel, it was exactly what we were looking for. Staying in Cape May one night for a cycling event. This was the ONLY hotel that would give us a one-night stay. hotel was old-school, with some long-term residents. But -- it was quiet, and pretty clean. Facilities were older -- but I stayed there exactly 8 hours, so it didn't matter to me. Owners were super-nice and seemed like they took pride in their hotel!

Wonderful motel with friendly accomadations!
Posted 11 Jun 2018 on HotelsEven though this is an older motel, it is quite nice. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. There was a fairly large refrigerator and a microwave in the room. If I would say there is anything to improve, I would say two things - one, add more lights to the room, there was only one desk lamp in my room and two, get either a stronger wifi signal or add access points around the building.

Thank you for the lovely review and suggestions for improvement. Unfortunately we have done all we can for the wifi including installing antennas to attempt to boost the signal, but apparently our awesome concrete and steel firewalls block it and Xfinity said there was nothing more they can do. :( Sorry for these inconveniences.

We're very sorry to hear you were not happy with your stay. I can assure you we have an exterminator come out 3 times a year to spray for pests, but unfortunately we are located in a wooded area and spiders are just an unfortunate pest that are over plentiful in this area and bites happen. We hope your wife is doing well after the incident! As for the AC.. I wish you had come to the office to let us know, we would bend over backwards to make our guests happy if we could and would have been more than happy to tried to make it more comfortable for the both of you. We wish you well and apologies once again for any and all aggravations you might have had with your stay with us.

Not Bad For The Price
Posted 18 Sep 2017This motel is just a short drive from downtown Cape May. The check-in /check-out process is quick and the staff are friendly. The building is a bit dated but our room was clean and included a mini fridge, microwave and TV. There was a loveseat, coffee table, dresser and desk along with the bed. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and tiny bars of soap. (There is no hair dryer so bring your own.) The air conditioning works REALLY well and can get quite chilly. Although we did not check it out, there is a pool out front. The one drawback is that the bed was very uncomfortable (and creaky) and could definitely stand to be replaced. However, all-in-all, this motel is not bad for the price.
