We were initially super excited to come to this hotel after seeing pics and it’s high ratings but when we arrived we noticed immediately that we were a burden. The staff was not as friendly as the other hotels and even though we were the only ones there (slow tourist season) every time I asked for something I was made to feel like I was bothering them despite the fact that I speak and am Italian. The biggest issue we had was the air conditioning and the shower drain. We completely understand that some hotels control the A/C and we absolutely understand that when they are fully booked they usually cannot accomodate but it was super annoying that even with few people staying the night and after asking for them to lower the temp in our room (they said they would and they didn’t!) it ended up being so hot and to add to our discomfort the window wouldn’t open. Just made for a miserable night. We went to the restaurant and it was literally a ghost town. We were the only two people there which is no fault of their own. Despite this, the food was delicious and restaurant staff were professional. The room itself was gorgeous but the shower drain was clogged and you had to shut off the shower mid way through or else it would spill into the bathroom floor. Parking was super convenient and the hotel is super close to the Greek ruins in Paestum. Overall average but wouldn’t come back again.

This hotel has superb facilities, spa, pools, party/meeting rooms.What is deficient, is the information available to guests. The room we were in had no hotel directory, printed or on TV. The restaurant is not well advertised, the menu is not available in the rooms. Same for the room service menus for the restaurant or the bar. Could also use the Express checkout system.

No use of an outdoor swimming pool only used for display purpose which is a shame room was a bit dated but it looks like they are refurbishing the rooms air conditioning not to great also noisy beautiful hotel very friendly and efficient staff also the shuttle bus wasn’t included in the b&b also had to pay extra to go in there private beach area

Nice Place
Posted 12 Sep 2018 on HotelsVery nice place, looks good. Slightly dated. Run efficiently and with great care of the customer. We had issue on our 3rd day, and they sorted it with out question. The area is lovely and beautiful, however getting anywhere you need a taxi. The hotel gave me a super helpful local, Leonardo spoke great English and was the most helpful person we met in Italy (he was also cost effective). The Hotel does host a lot of weddings, but you can keep to yourself. Only downside is, there is no outdoor pool with beds, this would have been great to relax in the beautiful heat. Overall nice place, great service. Just lacked that extra something to make your holiday easy.
