Accommodation in a student hall of residence
Posted 19 Jul 2021 on HotelsI used this accommodation to visit The Open golf at Royal St. George's, Sandwich and by the time I was able to book there was very limited accommodation available in the area. Becket Court is a student hall of residence on the campus of the University of Kent in Canterbury that offers bed and breakfast accommodation during the summer vacation. The accommodation is fairly basic but perfectly adequate for a 6 night stay with an en-suite shower room and very good breakfast and very good value for the price.

Very nice place to stay! you can also see the cathedral on the campus. The breakfast is excellent and you can take it like a brunch

Modern student accommodation on a lovely campus
Posted 27 Jul 2018 on HotelsStudent accommodation on a lovely campus a long walk/short bus ride from town. No lifts or TV, no concierge, no room service. Rooms clean and modern, but definitely a single bed. Rooms have a kettle and there is a kitchen nearby but no cooking or eating utensils. There are a few places to eat on the campus. To check in, you need to go to Eliott College next door. Do not arrive late, getting security out to check you in is not a good start to your stay. Breakfast is at Keynes College, about a minute's walk away - you should get a map when you arrive. Good value for money, in the summer when Canterbury hotel prices are high.
