Fourth time there and still a great location for families and larger groups. Spacious clean units with good amenities, particularly the heated pool, hot tub, and sauna.

Parking around the property is an issue when our vehicle did not fit in the underground parkade.
The pool surface could use a refinish as all our kids had multiple cuts/ bloody feet from the pool bottom.

Having two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms is great when sharing the space with friends. Being able to also cook or prep a meal is also very convenient as you don’t always want to eat out. The price is reasonable for Canmore. Some of the restaurants are far but the area is developing and every time we go to Canmore thier are more options.

It is with great regret that I am writing to make an official complaint about my recent holiday/special occasion (wedding) at your hotel – Stoneridge Resort. My family and I were there for a wedding in our family and I was the maid of honor.
I arrived earlier then check in time and noticed a bunch of hvac trucks on site and dismissed it thinking it would not effect my stay at the hotel. Upon speaking with a nice lady at the desk when it was time for check in I was told my room had been upgraded from what I booked (1 bedroom king suite) to a 2 bedroom suite. Everyone loves a free upgrade right? Not in this case.
Upon walking down the hallway to my new "upgraded" room, I was greeted with plastic covering the floors, fans on the floor making it hard to walk with a suitcase and drywall missing off the walls. I was very shocked to see this as paying almost $1000 to stay in your hotel for a weekend I don't expect to have to look at something like that everytime I leave my room which was alot as I was running errands all weekend for the bride.
The bride had come down to my room and was just as shocked at the state of the hallway and she even asked me if front desk had told me about this upon check in.
I then went to the front desk and spoke to a guy with a beard and I politely asked what was going on in the hallway and if something could be done about this issue and say maybe we can change my room back to the king room I had originally booked or some sort of discount.
