A Home Away From Home in Canmore
Our recent stay at Basecamp Suites in Canmore was truly exceptional. The 3-bedroom apartment felt like a cozy home away from home, complete with clean, modern rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a stunning hot tub overlooking the Three Sisters.
We've stayed at Basecamp properties before, and this one didn't disappoint. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to downtown Canmore. The only minor drawback is limited parking, especially during peak season. However, the convenience and comfort of the accommodations far outweigh this small inconvenience.
If you're planning a group trip to Canmore, Banff, or Kananaskis, I highly recommend checking out Basecamp Suites. It offers great value, especially considering the peak season rates.

We loved our one bedroom apartment! It was spotless, modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect too. We had a minor issue with the pull out sofa bed that was resolved easily. Check in was smooth and the front desk was responsive by text with any questions we had. The reason for the four star rating is because the hot tub was closed for our entire stay and we were disappointed about that. It was one of the reasons we chose this property. Overall we love Basecamp properties and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, clean, the unit had every detail of your stay thought-through and right downtown Canmore. We will return.

The room and property itself is very nice however the hot tub was broken for the duration of my stay. I received no information from the property prior to my check in and I believe that was done on purpose. When questioned the property stated they had no estimated date for reopening and offered access at another property ( several blocks away). In their communication they also made it clear they would not offer discounts or cancellations due to this. I don’t think the property was upfront and should have provided this information to guests PRIOR to their arrival as I would have cancelled and found a different property that had a functioning hot tub. If the hot tub is important to you I’d highly suggest contacting them prior to your arrival to ensure it is functioning.

It was such a well thought out space for a group! It was clean, comfy beds, and a lovely apartment! Everything you needed, except a working hot tub, which was too bad, but it happens!

TV didn’t work and the hot tub was closed. Had to go to a neighbouring resort to use their hot tub. Not ideal.
