I’m so torn on my review of this property. The staff was so lovely. It is so very close to the beach, and shops.
But, I chose this hotel based on other reviews about how it is a sanctuary in the middle of Canggu. I could not disagree more. Fireworks going off right outside my villa every night. Loud nonstop music from the beach clubs every night.
This is not the fault of the hotel, I’m just shocked that other guests left reviews about the serenity of the hotel, when it is not that. If I was 20 years younger, it would have been great.
The villa is large, and breakfast is beyond awesome, the staff is so sweet. The spa was not my favorite, but it was just ok.
The bathtub could have been much cleaner, but the room was spotless. I loved the fish in the entrance to my room.
The dances they had one evening in the lobby was wonderful.
For sure a mixed bag here for me.

This property is pure magic for those who want to experience true Balinese architecture, art and the most helpful and incredible staff imaginable! They cater to your every desire with kindness and a smile! The location of the property is fantastic…steps from restaurants, shopping and the beach! The rooms are gorgeous and the bathroom is something out of a dream!

This hotel property is nothing like you’ve ever seen! It’s like Heaven on Earth - truly the most amazing place - especially on the pool grounds! Service, food, drink and rooms top notch too. Do try! I promise you will be obsessed with the escape and attention to detail and nature honored. We did white water rafting nearby and that was a great coordinating activity!

Hotel Tugu is one of my favourite places to stay, this time I upgraded to the private pool, well worth it. The staff, the food, the drinks & the sunsets are perfect here too!
