Staff members are not present during check-in and out, everything is done via WhatsApp. I like that there's food options nearby, and playland for the children to play.

It was not easy to find the place but once we check in during the day it was ok, there was nobody at the desk at night when we needed anything, there’s a restaurant downstairs that has good service and food and a bakery. It’s a good place to stay if you plan to use it to sleep and shower, we got the studios/no fridge/no microwave.

A Gem in the Heart of Cancun Downtown

Traveling from Toronto, the hotel’s location was a major draw, offering easy access to downtown Cancun’s attractions. Its proximity to cafes, Mexican restaurants, and even a McDonald’s right downstairs added to the convenience. Additionally, being close to bus route 2 made trips to the Hotel Zone effortless. What truly set this stay apart was the warm support from the host, Luzma, whose generosity and kindness were unparalleled. She was very responsive and reachable all the times.
Sky Inn offers great facilities including free WiFi, which was impressively fast, and comfortable, clean rooms with modern amenities ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The fitness center and free private parking are added conveniences for guests.
But it’s not just about the amenities; the location is rated highly by couples and is in close proximity to Plaza 28 and Las Palapas Park, perfect for those looking to explore the local scene. It is also walkable to Walmart for any quick grocery trips.
I highly recommend Sky Inn Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient stay in Cancun, supported by fantastic staff. It’s an experience I’m eager to repeat on my next visit.
Note: It has a shared entrance with La Casa de los Abuelos.
