Our room had a very nice view of the ocean and lobby area. When our rooms ac sprung a leak the staff quickly relocated us to another room. The staff was very friendly and willing to make our stay very relaxing.

Lots of relaxation!
Food options are too limited. Lunch choices are terrible --- one place to grab a quick lunch. Breakfast was very good at the buffet.

Would not return
My friend and I decided to book a all inclusive hotel for one night on new years eve. If you like waiting in lines, then this is the right place for you. It took 5 hours for our room to be ready and over an hour to wait to check in. Another two hour wait if you want dinner reservations. We tried to go for sushi for lunch, but told it was only for dinner service reservations, then saw them serving people for lunch. All we ate there were some mediocre tacos for lunch because of all the lines and waiting. I've been in Mexico over a month and this is the only time I've gotten the runs. Not managed well at all amongst other things that happened. I would not return here, huge waste of money. On a positive note, the room was gorgeous, most of the staff were nice, and the beach is beautiful.

Outdated hotel that tries to appear sexy.
Upgrading my room to have VIP status was worth it and I recommend it if you stay at this hotel. However, hotel advertising makes this seem like a "sexy" place to be when it is really the ideal vacation for the typical 20-year old spring breaker. This is not the hotel for the more discerning traveler (i.e. the ants that were all over my in-room coffee set-up, the leaking toilet, and my iron that disappeared from my room day one and never reappeared, the bird poop on my balcony that was never cleaned during my week-long stay). With that said, the restaurants were amazing and the hotel's redeeming quality. Word of warning - making a reservation for said restaurants is a 20-minute wait in line in the hotel lobby and you can only make one reservation per day with many restaurants being full day-of. With my VIP status, I was invited on behalf of the hotel's "expedia" representative to tour the other Oasis hotel down the street that I had access to. Once there, I was tricked into listening to a sales gig for an expensive travel service. Total scam. I'll be complaining to Expedia. In all, I don't think this hotel experience is worth the price to stay.

Great Hotel ....Amazing views !!!
This was my first trip to Grand Oasis Sens ....we normally go to Temptations but they are closed for renovations .....the beach was amazing the view from the pool was amazing ...we met many friendly staff members who were very helpful ....we met some great people and had a wonderful time ....their are areas of the hotel that need some upgrading ...the hallways to the rooms are in a bad state of repair ...but we dont spend our time in the hallways and everything else was stellar ..big thanks to Gustavo and Sarah69 at the pool ...Gabriela and the other bartenders and Fidel at the baggage station

Delapidated hotel trying to save face
Incredible views & pleasant service but ants were everywhere, even in our closet and roaming our room's corners. This grand old dame of a resort has much to offer & plenty of fun; however the facilities need much repair and maintenance. Nice people but many safety hazards like narrow walkways, unmarked foot hazards, and little safety signage (slippery floors abound).

Very good choice
After looking at all the bad reviews we almost choose a different resort but we are glad we didn't ....the location is unbelievable. ...got a room with the ocean view and a nice balcony. ...paradise . The place does need a few updates but it's a very good value for the money....will def go back. Staff and vip check in was great. Thank you guys.

Grand time at the grand oasis sens
The only downfall to this resort was we paid for VIP but didn't have a balcony and a few couples we met didn't do VIP yet they had balconies. Besides that it was a great time and great place

Disappointed to say the least! :(
The hotel was only at 28% capacity and we could not make reservations for each night in the nice restaurants because they claimed they were booked. We did get in one night and there was supposed to be a dress code but it was not enforced. The roof leaked and there were towels on the floor to soak up the water. I booked with Expedia and they did tell me this property was a time share and the staff bugged and wasted our time. Disappointed!! The maid did not clean our room one day and we were out the entire day, we had to call twice just to get fresh towels. The was no place to dance at this location.

Nice adult only hotel on the beach
We loved this hotel. We had a pool on our balcony overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable and place was clean except for tiny ants which weren't a big deal. Mini bar was stocked and goid amenities. Three pools with a swim up bar and good drinks. Pay a little extra for the Sa'an kian experience and book the Benazuza restaurant the moment you arrive if not before. 20 course of the most delicious unique food we have ever had. Definitely will visit again.

Food so disappointing
For being an all-inclusive, it was extremely disappointing and frustrating. You have to make reservations for any of the restaurants, you can only make one reservation per day and they never have any availability. I went in low season so the resort wasn't even close to max capacity and they still didn't have open tables!?! The other food available was barely edible and I'm pretty sure I got sick from food.

Awesome infiniti pool overlooking the ocean
Great experience overall. The lifestyle promoters were over the top, once brought to the Grand Oasis Cancun became overbearing and wasted a lot of valuable time. Grand Oasis Sens itself has great restaurants, particularly Benazuza and The Black Hole. Pools and service were excellent, especially Mauro, the pool bartender who tended to our every need delivering our drinks to us before we even had to ask. Now that's quality service! The omelette chef was also a standout for us. Great breakfast selection and tableside service. We were on the 9th floor, which offered a great VIP experience, however, there were two elevators and only one went to the 9th floor with only one set of call buttons, it took a long time to get the correct elevator to open. Overall, the hospitality, service and staff was top notch and we will definitely be back when we visit Cancun again.

Nice hotel, stunning beach, bad food
This hotel is really nice. Needs a little bit of remodelling but overall is good. Great beach, spacious swimming pools, amazing views. The only thing is that for an all inclusive hotel food is really bad. The only option you have is a breakfast buffet which is open till 10:30am. After that there is nothing to eat (if only you are ok with deep fried chicken wings and French fries with hamburgers which are not good at all). Make sure to register yourself for a dinner but be prepared that food portions are very small ( The Box though was amazing) and dinning in the dark was a nice experience as well (food not so much). Oh, and make sure to visit Coco Bongo night club - absolutely worth it!!!!!

The view and the view only
“I feel like I've paid just for the view” 2 of 5 stars Pending review The hotel is in a desperate need of remodeling and refurnishing. Everything looks old, rusty, outdated. The room (the inside of it) was OK and the view fantastic (the ONE and ONLY good part of our staying). On the balcony the "jacuzzi" was not working and when we asked why they've said that the entire hotel stopped using them for years! So, what's the point then of having a chlorine-saturated tub on the balcony and even advertising it?! So: the room was nice (we have had an upgrade, I have to admit), the view was more than satisfying and the housekeeping deserves a raise. The lobby, the elevator's area and the restaurants- deplorable. I will attach pictures to sustain what I've said. The food- awful. Absolutely awful. They advertise 10+ restaurants but when you get there you find out that the "sushi bar" is closed because "it's not the season"(!!!), two of those places are small like hell and they serve some sort of molecular food (to be honest, you need real food, not molecules in your vacation), another two "restaurants" have Mexican and Italian sort of food, "gourmet" but not at all satisfying, and there's another place, definitely the most interesting one, named "The Black Hole" where the show deserves a 10+. I want to mention here Mizael, Cesar, Alejandro and Axel: GREAT JOB, guys! But you don't go to the Black Hole to get full, if you like to eat good, satisfying food (like a steak, for God's sake!
