"On the plus side: The location is beautiful with open views across the countryside. The reception staff are willing, efficient, friendly and do their best in the face of quite a few challenges. The hotel is characterful. On the downside: It is not as advertised - if it was a product that we had bought we would have sent it back. We booked and paid for a hotel with a leisure centre and gym. "Very nice resort of high standard. The only drawback could be that it is a bit remote, but with a rental car this is no issue. Really nice restaurants offering delicious foods. Relatively large swimming pool that never appears crowded. Staff generally friendly and willing to help. When in a room higher up quite some stairs to walk but a golf-cart service is available as well. Definitely a recommendation!!!"
