"Hotel has THE prime position on the harbour front. It is typical old style Italian, however parts are now looking a bit "tired" and whole building inside & out is in need of some TLC & refurbishment without losing its essential style & character. Place is very clean & staff are helpful. Breakfast has a vast array of cold buffet for continental b'fast lovers but hot food limited to scrambled egg + 1 other item. "It started with a very pleasant check-in and car parking. The lady at reception was exceptionally helpful. The hotel is centrally located so access to the main attractions was close by. The breakfast was great. Hotel also provides coffee making facilities in the room. But do get buy milk."

"Overnight stay close to Brindisi-Taranto highway. Set in farmland, but close enough to the highway to hear the noise of traffic but not oppressively so.. The property itself was furnished to a good standard and finishes were impressive. My room looked out over the pool which was beautiful. There was a lack of power points in the room, but the wifi worked. Huge property but quite empty due to the time of year. Probably comes to life in season. "

"I stayed a week at the hotel Minerva and really enjoyed the amenities such as the convenient breakfast, pool, proximity to the highway, and nearby airport. Wonderful friendly staff to see each morning at breakfast with Caffe latte and a nice selection of baked goods and juices. "

"Excellent stay. The staff is so kind, welcoming and thoughtful. They welcomed us late at night with a pack and play set up for our baby and called us in the morning to remind us of breakfast before check out to find a prepared table with a high chair ready for our son. "We actually extended our stay as we loved this beautiful hotel. The village is small and a car is required but lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We loved the spa - incredibly relaxing and very cost effective. The hotel room is large with lots of storage and has fridge. Gorgeous bathroom. But the highlight was our breakfasts with Giovanni. Many quality choices and of course the cappuccino! Terrific service by all staff. Lovely stay!"

"The front desk was on the ground floor, as usual in Europe. The lift that I never used was a little bit up the stairs. To get to the 1st floor, I had to climb another circular flight of stairs. The room I had was big enough for myself, with the bathroom having plenty of space. Overall, the fixtures were aged, worn, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow being a little shallow. I asked for a second pillow and promptly got it. My room overlooked the ferry terminal across the street....

"I love tobacco suites and will stay there every time I'm in southern Italy. The staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms a beautiful and the whole place is just very unique. They don't sell their story enough about it really being converted from an old tobacco factor so it's not just a theme but you have history there too. Highly recommended. My friend had to move to another local spot for few days because this was booked and she missed the fresh breakfast and warmth of the tobacco suites....

"We were very comfortable at Palazzo Bellocchi. Everything about the room and location was perfect. The breakfast that was included was hearty, as well. My one note is that I only realized that we needed to go to Hotel Orientale to pick up the keys because I read it in a review. That information may have been in a communication, but I hadn't noticed it. We would definitely stay here again. "

"This hotel was great. It was close to the airport and the boat term8nals for cruise ships. I just want you to he aware that if your hotel orders a taxi, you will get one. Otherwise, you it is Extremely hard to find any taxis. Someone had to call 6 taxi companies before anyone responded and then they still didn't show up. My 80 year old mom and I had to hitch hike from the port."

"What a great hotel right off the Main Street in downtown Brindisi. Friendly staff, well appointed room and excellent location. The breakfast was over the top, consistently good over my 3 day stay. I’ve eaten a lot of hotel breakfasts, This one is the best in recent memory."
