"Eden Vale is a hidden gem! We accidentally stumbled across the Inn while looking for accommodations close to Roseville. The location is closer to Placerville, but not far from Roseville. Small and quaint, the staff was courteous and attentive. The room was beautiful and we even had an outdoor tub (private). We will definitely be back when we visit the area! "
"The house is an excellent rental with a fabulous view. It is very comfortable and is more spacious than the photos convey. We will stay here again when visiting our family. "

"I love this property with is old fashioned furnishings, staircase , and elevator that can only hold two people. Traveling as a group of three friends the two bedroom unit met our requirements. It would be great for a family.
Only drawback was seeing a homeless person sleeping in the alley next to the hotel."
"Absolutely charming little inn tucked inside the Eldorado National Forest only a bit more than half hour past Lake Tahoe outside Carson City. You can’t imagine any setting much better! The room: pristine clean; modern, renovated, sheets soft as butter and a memory foam mattress you will think you are a baby in a cradle! Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pretty new hardwood like flooring - no gross carpet. Heat lamp and plenty of hot water for shower. Only negative for us - no restaurant so we went a mile down the road to a 76 gas station and picked up giant pack of all beef Kirkland hot dogs $9.99, buns, and breakfast snacks. Came back and cooked them on the grill outside watching the beautiful sunset, and hearing the rapids of the American River. Several areas for relaxing, outdoor fire pits with plenty of wood. Pet friendly. Definitely will come again. "
"just a fun, funky little town - the union hotel goes way back - would love to have seen it in its hey day! and if you can get a room (only 2 of 4) with direct balcony access even better (but you can access the balcony from the hallway for the other 2 rooms) - homemade breakfast (you get a selection) is - well - special - as is the super cool lady who does it all: hostess, waitress, busser - and most importantly - *chef*!! she's remarkable! want to go back on a friday to experience some of their other menu offerings (only serving friday - monday) and take in one of their local theatre productions...a truly great experience!
