This is a beautiful property. Our second stay and did not disappoint! We will be back.

This was our second time staying at 16 Bay View. Our first time was awesome. This time the room was beautiful and clean. The front desk staff and restaurant/bar area and staff were wonderful. Food and drinks were great. The issue we had was with house keeping. We checked in on a Tuesday evening and checked out on Friday morning. House keeping came in one time to (Wednesday morning) to empty our trash can. That was it. No clean towels, no bed service, no room cleaning at all. For the price we paid and the reputation of the hotel, I was deeply upset. The front desk staff did get us clean bathroom towels, etc on Thursday night after we asked. We will have to really debate as to whether or not to use 16 Bay View again next year.

In full transparency, October was a unique month for us as we were working with a new schedule of stayover services that has or is being adopted at other properties in the lodging industry. After full review we have determined this will not be the direction we continue with and are returning to daily housekeeping service. It was not constructive to the positive experiences we are known for and this is further confirmed by your review. The beds were too soft and sinking.

Great location and overall facilty. Probably the best shower I've had taken. Noce amenities and well apointed rooms.

This is a lovely property and convenient to restaurants and shops. The only complaint I have was the noise level in our room which was across the hall from the ice machine and across the street from the post office with trucks delivering in the wee hours.

Hello, Jane.Thank you for the feedback regarding your recent 16 Bay View Hotel stay. I believe the ice machine has a timer that shuts it off from making ice after a certain hour (9 pm? 10?), while retaining already made ice for guest use. I will ask Maintenance to investigate whether or not that is still an option.As for the Post Office... "neither rain, nor snow, nor sleeping guests shall keep them from their appointed rounds." To offset their dedication to timely mail delivery, the balcony doors are triple-pane and we do offer white noise machines. Alternatively, when reaching out to us, we will happily guide you to a room on the other side away from the Post Office.Again, our thanks for providing us with your honest feedback.
