The owner was so helpful and went above and beyond to get us to our event nearby. We had a very comfortable night; the rooms were clean with the usual facilities (tea and coffee) that you’d expect with bottled water and fresh milk provided in the fridge. The Inn is superbly located as just a few miles from Cambridge. A good choice of breakfast provided. Would definitely return.

Jeremy was an excellent host, and the food both at breakfast and in the evening was very high quality, and plenty of it too. A very pleasant stay for a short business trip.

What a welcome, such friendly pleasant hosts.
The room was clean, cosy and warm and just what we needed after an horrendous journey! Atmosphere pleasant and food freshly cooked. Thank you would most definitely stay here again, I’m not into big, bland corporate hotels.

Posted 29 May 2024 on HotelsNo hot water for a shower or bath. To so small you can barely see it from the bed. Bed uncomfortable and pillows smell of sweat. View from window is a scruffy yard area with rubbish in it

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. The person who stayed the night before you commented on having a nice hot bath. After your review I called our plumber who found the thermostat had tripped. It is not something that has happened before and there is no way we could have prevented it. None the less I apologise.I am sorry our small TV did not meet your requirements.I am also sorry that one of the best mattresses money can buy did not give you a comfortable nights sleep. You are the first person ever to have made an adverse comment about this. Indeed we are routinely praised for having comfortable beds.We could detect no smell of sweat from the pillows which are regularly replaced and the pillowcases professionally laundered.We agree that the view from the bedroom windows is not the best. The rooms overlook the courtyard to our very busy kitchen which is cleaned up at the end of every night. That is why the glass in the bed room windows is frosted. I do apologise that we could not provide you with a more appealing view over beautifully manicured gardens.
