We arrived to a completely empty car park (space for around 100 cars), and a deserted hotel, with the exception of one person at Reception. We had been warned by the hotel that the Leisure facilities were closed and the bar and restaurant would close, dependent on trade, but we didn't expect the restaurant to be closed at 6 in the evening! The sandwiches from the local petrol station were less than interesting. Otherwise, hotel decor and fittings are very dated, breakfast is ok, and the staff seem cheerful and engaged.

Very dated, the area as you turn in looks almost abandoned. Once in the hotel it is clean and the beds are comfortable. Perfect for the 1 night we stayed. Views on the lake are lovely

The property is old and tired shower cold no housekeeping nobody came to clean up cups or replenish tea bags. No towels replaced.or bed made . We found a pizza box with mouldy pizza inside must have been weeks old on top of wardrobe. Hairdryer dryer very old and kept cutting out. Generally awful would never stay stay again . We passed pizza to staff who didn’t really care. Key for lights very useless had to insert at least 3 times to get working .

Hotel staff were friendly, room was clean even though the hotel seems a bit old and tired and there was a little bit of an odd smell in the room. It was quiet at night and the area felt safe.

Wasn't impressed to find two singles made up as a double. My Partner fell through middle . Wasn't hurt.
The porters make a lot of noise with trolleys in the early hours.
Apart from that everything was fine.

Hi,Please advise if these beds were made up as a double because this is a twin bedded room which should have been 2 single beds separated by a bedside table.

Plenty of space and unique decor in the main reception area. Bedrooms are clean and tidy and very comfy beds. The hotel feels a bit dated but the staff are friendly and polite. Decent selection on the menu but fish was over cooked on evening meal as was most of the buffet breakfast.
The lakeside location is stunning and relaxing and overall it means that I would return again on business.
No pool or gym available at this site.

Looked ok form the outside. And was very quiet for a weekend. Parts of the hotel were run down. Over all it was ok . Only stayed for a weekend
