Great location at base of mountains, right by entrance to cablecar to mountain top. Great for walkers .
Restaurant menu possibly a little limited for British visitors but good snack options in bar area. Breakfast good- especially if you like wine with your croissants!

Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. We had a very enjoyable lunch, dinner and breakfast. Up to the usual high standards we have come to expect from Paradores

Great parking. Scenic location. Warm rooms.Charming period style room with excellent mountain view sun room balcony. Well maintained & clean. But...difficult luggage access. Requiring both lift and stair access. Reception staff came to room to guide and offered help though. No kettle,cups or tea coffee facilities. Unwanted mini bar though. Restaurant severely limited tables so strict booking time for dinner and breakfast were required or would not be available. Unclear on what was included on our half bord deal. Restaurant staff did their best enthusiastically but not enough of them per guest numbers so overwhelmed at times leading to poor attention particularly at breakfast. "Gourmet" ( pay extra!) dinner options very poorly cooked first night but OK second night. Chef certainly not luxury parador standard as expected. Bar very small & crammed with overspill diners who couldn't get restaurant bookings. So it was difficult to get served. We retreated to the huge guest sitting room which had zero atmosphere or facilities. Tables were full of used glasses, etc. from pre dinner drinkers. Very poor standard. We sat in bedroom with no after dinner refreshment.

Fantastic stay
