We loved our stay at Hotel Florida and would love to stay again/would gladly recommend. The resort felt quiet compared to others we've booked in the past, and compared to the nearby Son Matias area. Son Matias is walkable though and there are many options for food, drinks, and shopping. The onsite restaurant was very convenient as well. We loved that there were many places to tuck away along the coastline, which allowed us to be near the action or not. We stayed in the Siesta Suite which was well worth the upgrade - the private rooftop was stunning and the room had everything we needed.

The sea views from the room and hotel were stunning! Beautiful location and beautiful hotel. The staff were so helpful and nice. Peter at the reception was always so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. And Flor at the restaurant always pleasant and with a beautiful smile. Thank you so much for all the staff, I did not have one bad experience.

I stayed here for 2 weeks as a single solo traveler who was working remotely. The internet service was reliable and extremely good through out the different areas of the property making it flexibke for me to work from my room, my balcony, the bar by the pool or the lobby area. Breakfast was clean and variable and so tasty. The pool was always incredibly clean, chairs do tend to get "saved" in the morning but if u know that and put your things down no one will move or take them. The entertainment was wonderful at the pool. No music until about 12pm which gave everyone a relaxing morning, then afro beats and sometime live sax player in the afternoon. Such a great vibe! As i went in October there were no "partiers" everyone was calm, quiet and respectful at all hours. Beds were comfy and i loveddddd my balcony seaview! There is also a path to a cove to swim during the day. Palma nova which is the beach next to the hotel is so lovely and a quick 10min walk with so many places to eat and have a cocktail. I have the best time and the staff were always so friendly and accommodating. Also speak multiple languages including my native English/ Spanish, I heard German, Dutch, Russian and Portuguese! I never felt unsafe once at the hotel. They also have tours at the front desk ( which i recommend the 8 hour tour to Soller with church, boat ride, cliffs and tram/train).

Parking is terrible there, you better book in advance they only have less than 10 spots available at all times. Good luck finding parking on the street. I didn’t like that you had to pay extra for Pool Towels The dinner food in the restaurant was not good, save your self $50 and go somewhere else. The breakfast Buffett was decent.

Amazing views from this excellent property on the top of a hill overlooking the ocean. Take a right and after a short walk you are on the beach in Palma Nova, take a left and you are on Magaluf beach. Food was great and plenty of things to do close bye. Pool and bars are excellent. We were in a Superior ocean front corner room and the views were incredible!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Florida very much. Check in was easy and quick. We had a room with a sun deck on the 3rd floor facing the water. It was as advertised and comfortable. The view was great, and we enjoyed watching the many yachts and day sailers. We purchased the half board with our room. The breakfast and dinner had many choices and we always found something we really liked. We found this to be an excellent value. The beach is a short walk or you can jump in the water from the rocks at the hotel. Exiting the water is difficult here but a short swim and you can walk out. Water shoes recommended. The water in the swimming pool was cold but refreshing in the heat. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return.

Parking is a shame, they should provide an alternative instead of leaving people stranded on a one way road with nowhere to park outside the property, plus they do not even let you in the driveway of the property to allow a safe luggage drop off and check in process.

We only had 3 days here but we would have loved to stay longer if possible. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful (English well spoken thankfully as my Spanish is very minimal). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a balcony overlooking the ocean. They also make many efforts to be sustainable which we appreciated (we are scuba divers and are very aware of ocean fragility with island populations). Pool deck was lovely (bar & food avail.) and there were many spaces to enjoy the sun or shade (lots of umbrellas). We chose to include breakfast and it was great value - many options, all fresh, for full breakfast. We had dinner one night at the hotel and the buffet was very good then too. Either beach in the area is minutes away walking, and there is lots going on but the hotel itself was not rowdy or noisy. I highly recommend this destination for couples!

Florida is a marvellous place to stay , unique location overlooking the sea, the food and cleanness is outstanding , it is a few minutes walk to beach. Generally the hotel has kept things really good organised, you feel happy and taken care of. it is highly worth visiting a place that make you happy and you feel more than satisfied for what you paid.
