Pros: Le Foglie is quiet, serene, spacious and very attractive to the eye. It is well maintained, very clean and provides all that a travel needs. .
Cons: Nothing. There is no need to gild this Lily. The hotel has attractive rooms as shown on the website and the lounge has TV for international guests..
Location: Located north off the SS115 it nestles in a large olive grove beneath the hill town of Caltabellotta. Points of interest lie In all direction.
We visited Sicily with another couple and we included Le Foglie in our itinerary. We chose it as a point from which we could radiate each day to visit sites of interest. Le Foglie lies between Agrigento and Sciacca on a hillside in the heart of a beautiful olive grove. It is easy to find by taking the exit to Caltabellotta from either direction and driving approx 4 kilometers up the hill. You will pass a small shrine on your right and 100 meters later you will turn right and follow the signs to the hotel. Le Foglie is an agritourism hotel of excellent quality. It is spacious, airy, scrupulously clean and very comfortable. It is ran by a pair of delightful Sicilians who are extremely helpful and accommodating. They provide a varied and plentiful breakfast every day and follow up with advice for the days outing. There is a beautiful swimming pool just steps from the entrance lobby and ample parking for all the cars. Restaurants abound within a short drive from the hotel that cater for all tastes. The Mediterranean, which you can see from the main veranda, is a 4 KM drive back down the road where you will find quiet beaches and warm Mediterranean seas. Sicily abounds with ancient ruins and quaint hillside towns where you will find plenty of cafes but beware,.they virtually all shut down at 1.00 PM til 4.00 PM for the mandatory siesta. Off the main highways the roads are narrow and of dubious surface quality. In the towns and villages the streets are very narrow.

Sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft inmitten von Olivenbäumen. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Einrichtung zwar nicht auf dem allerneuesten Stand aber alles funktionstüchtig und gepflegt. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Le Foglie D’Argento. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw zijn ontzettend gastvrij en behulpzaam. Ondanks de taalbarrière werd er altijd geprobeerd een gesprekje met ons aan te gaan.
Daarnaast is het een goede uitvalsbasis om de Zuidwest kust van het eiland te verkennen.

Posted 24 Jul 2021 on HotelsPrachtig gelegen, tussen olijfbomen, mooi zwembad met jacuzzi , goede host, ontbijt lekker en voldoende. Kamer netjes, comfortabel bed, simpele douche. Leuk terras om te vertoeven
