Happy customer

Posted 31 Aug 2018 on Hotels
The area is quiet, set in a beautiful out of the way location. They do only have a village pub..but it does do great food. The bed and breakfast itself is awesome.. and the full English breakfast is fantastic. Only real downfall is parking abit tight

Woodpecker tell you all

Simple place in the middle of the Cornish country ! As a BeB this guys provides you a home made yogurt , honey, jam for breakfast without saying what you will receive as a proper English breakfast ! Hugeee!! Titanic ! And well done! Don't think you are going to a 5 stars hotel !!! Most important is the way this guys treat you and make you to fill special

Small B&B on the edge of a village

Posted 22 Sep 2015
Pros: The two owners
Cons: The twin bedroom was far too small. There was not space for even one chair. Watching TV sideways on the beds gave us both stiff necks
Location: Manor House inn was close, evening meals excellent. Hill too steep to walk 'home'. Nearby National Trust properties Lanhydrock and Cotehele.
Welcome and help from Roger and Alison was very good - nice people. Breakfast choice and quality was very good, served well in a separate dining room. The small size of our twin bedded room was inadequate for two adults. We were constantly having to make room for one another. The conservatory / lounge did not have enough seating for the maximum number of guests (8) and did not have a TV. Very difficult entrance / exit to Woodpeckers and only two fairly easy parking spaces.

Very Uncomfortable Bed

The service was very good, but unfortunately the bed let the whole experience down. I am still suffering with my back from 1 night.
