Check in was awkward as the lady on the desk did not understand my Canadian husband's accent and he had to repeat himself when speaking. There was no expected 'welcome to The Divya Sutra', just asked for name, credit card and signature. Keys were given to the room with no explanation of the fact that you need to use them in the elevator as another guest showed us in the elevator! We had not been shown or told about directions to pool, or the dining available at the desk so we thought we would check that information 'in room'. We reached our room, and upon entering, the bathroom fan was on, the microwave still had 11 seconds left on it and the toilet roll had been used. We rented a 2 x queen bed room, which looked fine at first glance. One bed was so firm and the other you couldn't sit on the edge without falling off it as it was 'done' as in old and had had it's time. We checked everywhere, but found no information on the hotel, amenities or vicinity amenities, in fact no literature at all, really surprised for an advertised 'Conference Centre'. I sat in the 'office chair' and nearly fell on my face, it needs checking or throwing out. The tv kept going green and the channels would disappear. When it grew darker we tried all the lights in the room as each one was so bright and not the right wattage bulbs for a 'bedroom/hotel room' we ended up using the bathroom light. The worst part of my 62nd birthday stay was the filthy, slimy, rusted pool & hot tub. NO cleaners? I could go
