Aloft Calgary University is a great spot close to the C train and relatively close major areas throughout Calgary ie downtown. The staff are warm and inviting while the hotel has all the amenities you could want including recreational activity. Just don’t get a room on the C train side! Loved my stay and will be back!

Breakfast and staff were good, rooms were okay, but shower curtains in place of glass door causing water to get everywhere. Loud parking lot beside rooms, buses and vehicles backing up and loading all night

The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel has a cool ambience and the on-site restaurant is fantastic. In terms of the rooms, the bed and pillows are among the most comfortable I've ever experienced. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel at all!

Basic stay
Posted 3 Oct 2024 on HotelsStayed for a recent Symposium. The 2 quuen bed rooms were spacious amd not cramped. The bathroom however is not an ideal set up for tall or broad people. Overall the room is older and hasnt been updated since I stayed in 2016. There are obvious maintenance oversights. If you are afraid of elevators you may stuggle. The main one from the lobby to parkade is not for the faint of heart. Location allows for easy access to resturants and attractions.
