We did the Ironman and the hotel was perfect for that event very close to finish line which made it perfect for us

Grumpy reception staff but lovely restaurant and bar staff. Hotel is fairly basic. Dont expect tea/coffee in your room as its not the Spanish way. Something for all tastes at meal times. Beds and pillows not very comfortable. We were there for the Iron Man event, 2nd time in the hotel. Would stay again.

Our Spain Getaway
Posted 27 Oct 2022 on HotelsWe had a good stay at the MedPlay Hotel Sata Monica. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, had a decent view towards the ocean. Enjoyed a few beers from the bar, the staff were very friendly. Thought the breakfast was very good with lots of options. Hotel was within walking distance to good food, awesome beach and a great running path. We would recommend this Hotel and would stay here again. Don't know if I'd book trough a third party again. Getting tired of the unnecessary middleman. Finding out that you actually get more bang for your buck if you book directly with Hotel or airline and you get to save a few bucks in the process.

Recent family all inclusive stay
Posted 31 Jul 2022 on HotelsGreat overall for the kids, all four single beds are comfy and a decent size. Room was clean and tidy. The walls are paper thin, so bare that in mind if you have small children that sleep light. We had family’s to our sides and below but above was a very loud.. I mean very loud couple, especially in the twilight hours, you could hear everything, and I mean everything, got the kids asking questions. The service at the pool bar was fast but the workers could have shown a smile, slight rush to sun beds in the morning but that’s the same at all hotels. The food quality wasn’t too great but what you would expect for the money. A bit of a struggle to use the lifts around meal times as there’s only two, you end up having to que up 3 floors for the restaurant, very unpleasant when it’s hot. The restaurant had a school canteen feel. Once in the restaurant it was a tad crazy, everyone rushing about, lack of respect for personal space. Seemed to be a lot of Russians which is surprising considering the sanctions at the moment.
