We stayed here only for one night for the convenience of location. The hotel was a great value. That being said it is looking a little tired, the beds and pillows were not comfortable. Location was great as well as the staff. They were very helpful.

I found it to be a clean, modern hotel. With the window closed, the room became somewhat stuffy. The breakfast was adequate, and it only cost €8. The location was good, within walking distance of the town centre.
I couldn't work out if this Campanile Hotel was in any way connected with other Campanile Hotels that I have stayed at in France.

We stayed at the “Campanile” hotel in Caldas de Rainha for three nights during October. It was a pleasant stay, in a modern hotel with easy access to main roads, a supermarket near-by, free parking and a room with all amenities. As is the custom lately there is only soap no shampoo, so bring some.
The location is in a convenient spot for day trips to close destinations, like the Obidos Castle, the Nazere lighthouse, the Fatima shrine or the Buddha Garden of Eden; all these are within an hour drive.
There was a misunderstanding between Expedia and the hotel regarding the cost of breakfast. We had seen “included” when booking, but the hotel asked for pay; Expedia promised to reimburse us for the cost (6 Euro/day/person).
We would recommend this hotel for its location, amenities and low cost.
