There were a few huge issues with this hotel. Item number one the nice room that I had selected was a bamboozle, I wanted the room with the soaking tub that had the view of the pyramids and that was what I had selected. When I got there, they told me I must’ve made some mistake. After talking to many guests who were also strangers we found we all had the same bait and switch on the room. Not to mention, as a woman traveling alone the area is completely desolate. Your Wi-Fi will not work on the street for you to get an Uber and you will have to walk down to the main surf fair which is a couple blocks away neighborhood with Abandoned buildings. I left after the first night and found another location because I did not feel safe and I was turned off by their dishonesty with the room. Stay anywhere else. I’ve never written a bad review and I usually only take the time to write reviews when places are great, but this was such a bad experience. I want to warn other travelers.

The hosts were amazing and friendly. Language was a bit of a barrier but the staff had good grasp of English to have engaging conversations. They were also very accomodating to our needs as well. The rooftop view of the Pyramids is one of the highlights. And the Pyramids are a walking distance too from the lodge if you are into that kind of thing. Otherwise you can get one of the horse drawn carriages Pharaoh style to get there. All in all, solid 5 stars

This hotel was amazing… It's all about the owner and the staff they have many daily tours to help you out. Mohamed, was a very good man and help me with everything I needed. Giza is a tough place to visit so if you want a safe place and somewhere you can call Home this is the hotel you need to go to.
