Long family weekend.

We have recently enjoyed a weekend at Novotel Cairo with my family. We had a wonderful time but as first timers underestimated the size of the city and location of the hotel. We ended up eating most meals at the hotel restaurant, as most places were quite far. Food was however tasty and service always attentive. We also enjoyed the pool area. It was nice the hotel wasn't very busy, which is probably also caused by the renovation- on some days it was very noisy.

It was very nice. The hotel was doing some remodeling in one wing, and they need to do the same in the wing I was in. With that being said, the hotel was very nice, the staff was outstanding and my wife and I liked our stay. It was very quiet and I enjoyed the silence.

It's OK

Hotel is OK. Room I was in was a decent size with lounge area and bedroom area. Dinner buffet reasonable choice without it being great. Breakfast buffet likewise. It has got a gym although the equipment is pretty old. Pool area looked nicked although never had the chance to try it
