"We were looking forward to our 3 nights stay at Lady Maria, but after first 24 hours an accumulation of things made it very mediocre. Any of these events on a stand-alone would not have bothered us, but put together they left an unpleasant feeling. When you arrive, it is not obvious which entrance will take you to reception, so you walk around with your luggage trying various doors, some locked. "A lovely property in a lovely tiny community with a centuries old church in its front yard. The hotel building is a beautiful mix of Scandinavian design with boho mountain elements of plants, books, local artifacts, etc. The staff is delightful from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was a multi course meal served at the table smoothie, cereal, egg dish, waffles, coffee and dessert, in addition to self service of cheeses, meats breads, fruit, nuts, ets. "It may be that they're still trying to gear up after covid. Room was good. Restaurant was not open for dinner. People were sent across the street to the BierGarten. Air conditioning did not work. No beverage service (coffee) in the rooms ... Schade...."

"The property is so open and vast — looks industrial from afar but super cozy and intimate once inside. The spa is great— awesome rooftop (hopefully they are getting the spa tub fixed on the roof to work as well as the one down below!).. room balconies make the rooms romantic and spacious! The staff is super helpful, kind, laid back and this made our stay all the more enjoyable! "

"A great hotel in the heart of Bolzano. My first stay at this particular property, I stayed further away from the centre before. The area is nice, good restaurants, grocery and other shopping. My room was upgraded and I got a huge room with a terrace and a jacuzzi tub. All amenities in the room were great and plenty. Parking was convenient and not too expensive. "

"If you are traveling anywhere near this hotel, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the bar and restaurant were some of the best we experienced all over Italy. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. The Spa services were a dream - multiple different saunas with different temperatures, beautiful pool and hot tub, and a lounge room with swings, beds, and relaxation music. "I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but felt it wouldn’t be fair. Here is a detailed review: hotel reception and facilities all get 5 stars. The restaurant has good selection of food options and quality is high but they charge 4.5 euros for tap water so 4 stars for the restaurant. I understand that this happens in Austria but in such up market hotel I expected better. They were generous with fruits and we found apple everywhere. The cafe was brilliant after ski. Peter who served us twice was fantastic. We ordered ham and cheese toast and beer and it was amazing. He is friendly and helpful. 5 stars go to the cafe for sure. Spa was amazing and choices of saunas and swimming pools and also sauna program by Rita was amazing so 5 stars there. They also have nibbles at the spa which is great. We didn’t try the massage service but prices seemed reasonable. The ski hire and storage were well organized and super convenient so definitely 5 stars. Sheki at ski hire was super knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were also good and comfortable but one issue and that is what super hot. So it gets 4 stars. Room cleaning was prompt and amazing and two issues we had was fixed immediately so 5 stars there. Overall a pleasant hotel which we loved and enjoyed our time"

"We found the location to be ideal and convenient for the Aldstadt. The hotel is superbly placed and in easy reach of the main railway. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful in range and quality with as many double espressos as we could handle! The spa was of excellent quality with great ease of use being on a booking system."

Amazing place!

"The room was great! Floors were heated, large bathroom and bedroom. Amazing views out the windows! The facility has two restaurants that are great, the spa is amazing! They give you robes and everyone in the hotel stays in them most of the day. The underground to the theme pools is awesome! This was an amazing place to stay! Right in the middle of old town and Christmas markets!"

Great stay in Bolzano

"We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the Dolomites. The accommodation is well located in the centre of Bolzano on a street with lots of shops and restaurants. It was around 10min walk from the main train station which we did easily with our luggage. We had 2 different room types for 5 adults, one with a lovely big balcony and the other was big enough for 3 adults. The rooms themselves were modern, large and clean. There was enough space in both rooms for all of our luggage and for us to congregate (have a wine and snacks) all together. The bathrooms were also really spacious and clean. Tho r surrounding area was full of shops, restaurants and there was a supermarket one or two shops down from the hotel. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central base in Bolzano. "

"Great stay. Interesting arrival as you need to pull in behind the hotel in an alley to unload and check in. They have a porter for your luggage and very nice staff. Breakfast was more than ample. Staff was amazing and location cannot be beat. Parking is easy, just across the river in the Therm parking under the street. Room was more than average size and clean"

"Our stay at Adler Lodge Ritten was nothing short of magical. The lodge is incredibly beautiful, with breathtaking views of the Dolomites that set the perfect backdrop for a peaceful escape. We felt utterly relaxed during our time here, especially with the luxurious sauna in our bedroom and the serene saltwater pool. Each day was an adventure, with fantastic hiking trails in the surrounding area. The food was a highlight of our stay—absolutely delicious, featuring local delicacies that we couldn’t get enough of. We have to give a special mention to our server, Alex, who made every meal an experience. His knowledge of the cuisine and local wines was remarkable, and thanks to him, we discovered our new favorite amaro! His friendly personality added so much to our dining experience. We also want to recognize Rudie at the bar/lounge downstairs. He was incredibly welcoming and made us feel so well taken care of during our time there. His drink suggestions were spot-on, and his warm demeanor made the lounge one of our favorite places to unwind. Adler Lodge Ritten exceeded all our expectations, offering stunning scenery, excellent food, and an amazing staff who made our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!"
