This place was a dream… couldn’t have asked for more. Bonus that is has a semi private beach where vendors aren’t able to sell to you constantly like the other local beaches.

What we enjoyed: Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well equipped for longer stays. Sweeping views of the ocean and sunsets - though one of the towers is completely blocked by another! The property is ocean-front and isolated from the main road traffic and noise. Staff is friendly and mostly helpful. What we didn't enjoy so much: - A US$40/night charge because we booked with Expedia! It just feels like false advertising and has no rationale behind it. Off-putting enough to not book again. - For all the equipment and amenities in the room, there is no drinking water. You need to drive out and buy a jug of water and carry it to your room to be able to drink, make coffee/tea. - The poolside activities can get loud and result in blaring megaphones on your balcony. - The beach is not easy to access and rocky. Luckily, there are lovely beaches a short drive way. - For the price - including the extra charge for booking with Expedia, the value of this property is much less attractive.

We loved our stay at Sirena del Mar. The grounds and views were beautiful. The food and drinks were delicious. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and helpful. Oh and the massages were heavenly.

This property is very well maintained and very clean. Staff are very efficient and friendly, especially Miguel in the Cafe Estrella and Antonio at the pool. They bent over backwards to meet requests and took excellent care of us. Check in and checkout was easy and the bell staff were prompt. Maintenance was ongoing to ensure the amenities worked. There were no language barriers for us. The food and beverages were delicious and reasonably priced. There were ample pool chairs while we were there, although it may be trickier during high season. The views were amazing wherever we looked and we could see whales from our room.

The property has a great view and is clean. The restaurant food is way too expensive. Hidden fees. Not explanation just signs here this is the extra fee.

Property was nice, but the extra resort fees and the constant text messages about a smoking policy that I have no reason to get. Or they see me in the pool, bring back the towel on a text message. How about I send you a text message, saying “ let me have a vacation”. Really don’t need to feel like I’m being spying on.
