The property looked quite different to the photos as far as being a corner downstairs room. Private with fencing and tall trees around however this made it seem dark.
The room itself smelt very damp, the rug in the living room smelt which made the whole space a bit stale smelling.
Toilet set was broken, as was the bathroom extractor fan which meant that mould was growing on the ceiling.
15 min walk to the town, and beach right across the road. 20 min walk up to the lighthouse, a must do!
Kitchen didn't have salt or pepper.
Bikes were not available for hire.
Offsite parking was handy.

Unit looking a little tired needing a coat of paint/ carpet had not been cleaned for a while with considerable sand/ dirt underneath!

Julian’s apartments are located in quieter area but close to beaches, town and restaurants. The walk to the lighthouse was close and views are amazing. The best part of the apartment was the outdoor patio . Lots of room to spread out and was very private. I would recommend a stay here!

We loved our stay at Julian’s Apartments. Unbeatable location, easy stroll into town, walk to Wategos or surf at The Pass. Friendly staff, we were greeted by David who was very helpful and accomodating. Comfortable apartments, they were equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay with our little one including a washing machine and communal drier. We can’t wait to be back.

Air conditioner didn’t work on the first night and it was really hot and humid. We tried calling the after hours number and texting. No reply until the following morning.
We had a cockroach in the bed on the first night…..!!
Dirty marks on main bed linen and mould on the couch cushions, blinds in the dining area, plastic ware in cupboard. Floors needed a good mop.
I advised the owner of the air conditioner the following morning when he finally got back to me and the cockroach. He let me know that he would organise the aircon to be repaired and that he would leave the details with the next staff member whom was starting at 9am. After the phone call I text asking to be moved to a different apartment given the cockroach incident, and for us to be out of the way whilst the air conditioner was repaired, however he failed to reply. I asked the following staff member at 9 if we could please be moved and compensated for not having air conditioning. He declined and was very rude to me about the whole incident. This is my second time staying at Julian’s. the first stay approx 2 years ago was lovely and clean, however after this incident, the state of the apartment, and being spoken to so rudely I would never return.

Good location and fine for 2 adults. Coffee machine wouldn’t take pods from Woolworths. Shutters to balcony hard to operate.
