Nice modern room with good kitchen facilities and large bathroom, bed was really comfy and the room was clean. Had tea, coffee, sugar, and milk when we arrived and the toiletries smelt lovely! It’s in a good location about 10 mins walk from Byron Bay centre along the beach and had parking outside. There is a pool but we didn’t use that on this occasion as only there one night. There was a very helpful lady when we arrived, she wasn’t staff but she helped us get the keys as there weren’t staff available when we got there!

It was very clean and tidy. The property was within close walking distance to the town centre and the beach. Would definitely go back. Thanks again.

We rented the beach house thinking we were renting the entire house, but the host only opened 2 rooms Because she said we were 3 in total. This was not much of an issue for us, but it feels like false advertising. The house was large and the kitchen, breakfast area, etc. really big. Our major issue was the house was not clean. The kitchen countertops, cabinets were so grimy. The washer and the dishwasher so dirty. We took clothes out of our hamper to wash in the washer and we put it right back inside because we have never seen such a dirty washer. There was water pooled inside the washer. There was hair, etc., in the outside rim. It was very icky to think that our towels would’ve been washed in that same washer but we didn’t have a choice. Similar situation with the dishwasher. In the hallway closet upstairs. The laundry chute in the master bathroom was filled with dirty towels that should have been put away. The continental breakfast that the advertises just eggs (that you have to cook yourself and couple cereals and milk. Our check in time was 12:30 PM and when we arrived at 12:20, the host was still cleaning and asked us to come back at 1 o’clock. All in all, we did not have a good experience at all. Since it was just one night, we just put up with it.

Hi Anusha, I apologise if you felt that you didn't have the greatest of stays with us. In terms of renting our four bedroom house. You booking had a 2 x adults(couple) and a child booked in. We rent the house based on a 2 person minimum. If you have additional guests, the booking platforms adds on additional charges for those people. This allows us to rent the house particularly in quiet periods such as when you stayed with us. You would have seen this reflected in the price that you paid being cheaper than if you had say booked for 4 adults. If we open up the whole house we run the risk of additional guests who have not paid to stay using other rooms, or the guests using multiple rooms during your stay. Hence costing us more money to change it over than the guest has paid. In your instance, 355 for the night. This included two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen and large lounge area, private pool including breakfast. What we offer is extremely good value for money. In terms of checkin, our checkin time is 2pm not 1230pm. We always try to accommodate our guests who arrive prior to this time, but this is always subject to availability. I have spoken with my staff who were on the day you arrived and due to you arriving at 1220pm, they were rushed into not doing their final checks which form part of their cleaning routine. This is not an excuse for the final checks not being undertaken, however they should have still been conducted. I apologise about the countertops very grimy and my staff member admits to removing the towels. Again I am sorry for this. As for the washing machine, I personally inspected it after your review and I apologise for the small amount of lint in the rubber. We regularly run dishwasher and washing machine cleaners through our machines. In terms of our breakfast, I as a very seasoned traveller and I can say I have never had a private house or unit provide eggs, yoghurt, bread, cereal, fresh milk, and a huge array of condiments. We do this complimentary to ensure you have a great stay with us. Again, I apologise you didn't have a great experience. We take your comments onboard.

We stayed at the beach house and found the house to be lovely and really well stocked with breakfast supplies, lots of coffee pods, and general kitchen needs. However, when I arrived to pick up the key I was told I hadn’t paid for enough people even though I had put in these details when booking via Expedia (i.e 2 adults, a child and an infant) so she said she would lock 2 of the 4 rooms off. When I advised that my husband and I needed to sleep in separate rooms due to our various sleeping disorders she reluctantly allowed us to use a third bedroom but locked the 4th meaning I had to have our infant in my room overnight even though all we needed the fourth room for was to set up the cot we brought. He is a noisey sleeper and kept me awake most of night which meant I woke exhausted and had a really negative impact on our first trip to Byron Bay. We were also offered a child gate which she didn’t actually provide and when I went to follow up after we had settled in the office was closed even though it was 30 min before it was meant to close.

Hi Nicole, I am sorry that you didn't have a great sleep. We rent the 4 bedroom house based upon a two person minimum. In the event that those two adults require 2 bedrooms we always open 2 ensuite rooms for them. Unfortunately, we have had numerous instances where someone books the house for 2 people and 8 people show up(Any additional people are charges on top of the base rate). We opened 3 bedrooms for you, one for you and your child, one for your husband and a third for the infant. You paid 300 for the night and with breakfast I feel is actually great value for money. I apologise about the baby gate not being erected, we have a 24 hour mobile number you could if reception is unattended. Again, I am sorry you didn't have a great experience.

Great location, only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. House was huge, lots of room, great amenities and private. Nikki made us welcome and we felt at home.
