Easter weekend at Hovdestøylen
Posted 4 May 2023 on HotelsMy family spent 4 nights at Hovdestøylen over the Easter long weekend. We had a 3-bedroom unit in a wing next to the main hotel that was modern and well equipped. A cross-country ski trail runs right past the hotel, and the downhill ski centre is about a 5 min drive away. Parking can be a little crowded during the après-ski hours but we always managed to find a place.
Nice bar area with large screen TV, fireplace and shuffleboard. Very friendly service in the bar/restaurant and at reception.

The property has recently been refurbished and is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing to complain.

Nice stay
Posted 7 Mar 2022 on HotelsWe had a nice stay at Hovdestøylen. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The bedrooms are quite small, but the beds were comfortable. It is worth mentioning that two of the bedrooms have no windows, so if you are claustrophobic probably not a good idea. On the plus side the apartment had a drying cabinet, which was very useful for quickly getting dry clothes ready for next days skiing.

Nice place to stay but was suppriced when they asked for additional payment for bed linen and cleaning after one night stay in a hotel room.
