"A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. "

"The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old. There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room. Breakfast and room service were very good. The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well. You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. "

"In general a nice stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a nice aircondition (although the room was quite dark). The rooftop was nice with some nice views and the location is really good. The breakfast was a bit limited, but so was it everywhere else we stayed in Tanzania. Overall a really nice option for a few days in Stonetown. "

"I really appreciate every single particularity in Ycona resort, From the moment I arrived, Iwere impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and charming decor of the hotel, insprirede . The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. "Awesome location and view of the Indian Ocean. From our balcony we had direct view of the beach and the ocean. The room was spacious, with nice and comfortable furniture, and bedding. Very nicely decorated. Very clean and one of the best stays that we had. Staff were super nice and accommodating. We loved having drinks and appetizers outside on the deck. Live music added to the very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again. "

"The environment was very welcoming and everyday i saw how hard everyone on the staff worked in unison to provide me comfort and convenience. Elisha and Zebron i dealt with daily and they made sure everything was in order and that i enjoyed myself. The cooks serce some of the best food i have tasted it was so i tried food i have never tried. The property was secure and i had no worries of unfavorable events occuring. First place i have stayed wjere housekeeping comes in person at least 3 times a day to ensure the room is in order or to check if anything is needed. I didn’t just meet people that work at a lodge there, no i made friends and i will be visiting again. Asante sana to the entire staff and managers "

"We loved having a 3 bedroom suite with a living area and private baths for all. So nice to be all together yet in our own space, The food was good and the service was too! Unfortunately the property isn't licensed. That's the only hesitation I would have on returning."
