Great room. Staff were a bit thin on the ground. No female changing available at the pool

Such a lovely hotel and reception staff were amazing and very accommodating! And the lovely lady at breakfast was absolutely lovely! Was a really comfortable stay for my first night and first ever time in Buxton!

Would have given a higher rating for cleanliness except there was a green finger nail by the pillow, not sure if it was a staff member or previous occupant.

Well we stand at the hotel the room was not up to scratch and there was a Norse was going on all night so we could get to sleep with this Norse.

The good old Palace Hotel has been done up since we last stayed here. All round it looks better and feels better than before. Not everything is perfect though: breakfast is a bit of a crush; and trying to force guests to pay for wifi seems like something from another era! Anyway, it's a better prospect than it was before, providing your phone has good data.

Great stay again at the Britannia Palace, everything as it should be, an old building so expect the odd creak but for the price I’d say it was great value.

Lovely hotel and great for my two children. Really enjoyed the location and facilities.
