"The room was nice, a couple of biscuits with the tea and coffee would have been good. Also, more milk! Most staff were friendly and helpful. However, in the morning I wanted to buy a cup of coffee - not breakfast. And this seemed to present an enormous challenge! Reception staff said to just go through to the dining area but the first member of staff was flummoxed. Then the second member of staff wondered whether the coffee machine was on (!) A third member of staff took me over to the bar area where there was a coffee machine but then changed his mind and said he'd use the machine in the restaurant area. When I said okay, and that I'd take a seat he said, 'No, come with me.' All this, for a cup of coffee. In a good hotel. So, I said, 'Never mind,' and went across the square, where I bought a good cup of coffee from the Cafe Nero."

"We loved the room, layout was great. Loved the bed, very comfortable! Shower was good as well. Only thing I would ask for is a magnifying mirror in the bathroom as I struggled to put my lenses in! Staff were lovely as well. Our new favourite in Leeds! "

"Brilliant stay. All staff were friendly and courteous. We left our bag there before check in and also after check out which was a brilliant perk. The room was amazing and the toiletries were lovely - the handwash smelt devine. Breakfast was good, plenty of options but it was very busy so things did run out but the staff were very quick to refill them. Handy location for the train station. Would stay there again. "

"We arrived 2 hours early but were told our room was ready! On asking if there was a room we could upgrade to, we were given a Suite. Wow! it was fabulous and really changed our whole experience. The extra private sitting room was such a bonus and we made the most of it. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful and when we had drinks in the bar/lounge the barman was friendly and really efficient. We only booked one breakfast on the day we were checking out and, again, breakfast staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful with good choices whatever your requirements are. We've stayed here before and would definitely stay again."
