Really dirty and old

Thank you for your feedback.Obviously what ever you were in Melbourne for did not go well, so you decided to put a bad review online.99% of our feedback verbally and online is stating that the rooms are exceptionally clean. The whole Motel including all the rooms had just been painted and all rooms had carpets and furnishings steam cleaned. There was plenty of opportunity for you to come to reception and tell us your issues and we would have done what we could to make you feel happy. However not once did you approach us.If the Motel was as bad as you said then why would you have stayed the second night?When you checked out the state of the room was not acceptable and realistically you should have been charged for the extra cleaning.Lastly when you make a bad review it would be helpful if you were more specific so the problems can be addressed.Regards

Clean, has everything you need, lovely staff
Posted 28 Jul 2024 on HotelsJodie was super attentive and lovely! Some parts of the motel room looked a little olden but nevertheless was still very clean. There was everything you would need - heater/ac, basic kitchen and bathroom amenities, even an ironing board. This is a great place to stay with a shopping centre just across the road

Check in is 2pm but room was not ready when I arrived with 3 young children from a 2.5hr trip at 2:15pm.
Thankfully at least it appeared the man tried to "rush" the cleaning staff once I said I was not happy about it.
10 minutes later once we were in, the room stank.

Thankyou for your feedback.Firstly we do our best to have rooms ready by 2pm, however in some cases due to being busy we may run a little late. Secondly if there was a smell in the room you should have come to reception and we would have dealt with it.

Very clean and neat accommodation in a convenient location. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Price is very reasonable. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Burwood East Motel was very convenient for my purpose. The room was large and had all expected features. The receptionist, [owner?] Was very friendly and obliging. On my leaving, she had my phone charger out to me before I could get into my car after dropping back my room key. I forgot to pack it and hadn't missed it!!. Thank you. Would recommend this motel.
