Had a wonderful three nights, comfortable bed, enormous continental breakfast which was fab, fascinating decor which we loved, big wet room with huge towels which were so cosy, slippers provided, in fact you couldn’t fault anything, beautiful gardens to relax in, great hosts, very welcoming. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Highly recommend 😄
The character and age of the house, colourful artistic decor and design details.
Although the bathroom/wet room was a good size with a fantastic shower, it was not ensuite, it was dedicated to our room but down a hallway.
A very colourful and comfortable room in a lovely setting, so quiet and peaceful. Communication was always excellent prior to booking and there was always a friendly greeting on arrival. The room and bathroom were very clean and with all the amenities you could wish. Continental style breakfast looking out onto the garden was also always enjoyable. I stayed twice in quick succession and would certainly stay again.
This place was an amazing find. Margaret and Graham were fantastic. The room was clean, comfy and had a log burner which was great and also the huge tv. WiFi was fast so what more can you ask for. As for breakfast, this was sublime with homemade everything and what topped it all of was the decor in the breakfast room. I can’t wait to return.
This B&B is just incredible, I am a regular business traveller and have never stayed anywhere quite like it. It is more than just a B&B, it is an experience.
The hosts are gorgeous and the rooms are great-a wood burning stove, Jacuzzi, homemade cake in your room and lovely comfortable bed. The breakfast is the best I have ever had at a hotel or any accommodation- they make their own sausages, bread, jam, cakes and butters.
It is some kind of wonderful that you have to experience for yourself and I will certainly visit them again, should I be in the area.
I can't put into words how welcoming and friendly the hosts of Royle Farm B&B were. I got in to the warmest welcome that I've ever received in any B&B that I've stayed in.
The rooms were immaculately clean and there was home made food and drink placed in your room in case I felt peckish during my stay.
I stayed in the grand room and got in later than I would have liked. I wanted to use the jacuzzi but feared that maybe it was too late in the night and I would be disturbing others. The hosts insisted that they didn't mind and told me to use it.
This was one of the, if not the best stay I've had in any B&B. It's an absolute bargain and I definitely will be staying again.
Fantastic, quirky, comfy place with very welcoming hosts. The setting is unique and the whole place feels very cosy, including having a wood burning stove in the room which was great for lighting up a rainy autumn evening. Breakfast was homemade and fantastic both in quality and quantity.
We were really pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back!
