Disappointing
Posted 19 Aug 2018Quirky little house. Could be said to have 'character' !. But small things: dirty cookware, no basics (salt & pepper, kindling for fire), no light in 1 room. All made this property overpriced. We stayed in other lovely, clean & smart places for similar pricing.

We’re sorry you were disappointed. The kindling is left with the extra firewood in the oven room as a matter of security as we don’t want fires to start within the room if the front of the fire box is left open. It seems guests like salt and pepper along with vegetable peelers as they frequently walk, sorry we missed this one. All rooms have lights whether ceiling or table lights. The single bedroom has a bedside light that had a blown globe, this has been replaced, thanks for letting us know.
